Note the inclusion of the agenda for the Special Convention to be held in Lodi on March 29. Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori will convene the Convention, and will then appoint the Rev. Mark Hall as Chair.

House of Deputies President Bonnie Anderson will also be present.

The Diocesan Constitution as amended to 2001, and the Canons as amended in 2003, will be presented by resolution to be adopted as valid.

The nomination of The Right Reverend Jerry A. Lamb as Provisional Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin will be confirmed.

Elections for Standing Committee and Delegates to General Convention 2009 will be held.

The Convention will conclude with a celebration of the Holy Eucharist and the seating of the Provisional Bishop.

It's going to be a great day. Members of San Joaquin won't want to miss it.
